President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assured Nigerians that the country will not allow forces seeking to destabilise the nation to undermine its peace unity and sovereignty.The president gave the assurance on Monday while addressing concerns over rising security challenges in parts of the country. He said the federal government remains committed to protecting the territorial integrity of Nigeria and maintaining stability across all regions.According to the president security agencies have been directed to remain vigilant and take decisive action against any group or individual attempting to disrupt the peace of the country. He stressed that Nigeria’s unity must be protected at all times and warned that those threatening national stability would face the full force of the law.Tinubu also urged citizens to continue supporting security institutions through cooperation and the provision of credible information that can help prevent criminal activities. He noted that national security is a shared responsibility between the government and the people.The president reaffirmed his administration’s determination to strengthen security operations while working with relevant stakeholders to address threats to peace and stability. He added that efforts are ongoing to improve intelligence gathering and enhance coordination among security agencies across the country.

Tinubu emphasised that Nigeria’s democratic system and national unity remain non negotiable and must be protected from individuals or groups attempting to create instability.
