According to the board the school located in Karshi has integrated digital tools and modern learning technologies into classroom teaching as part of efforts to strengthen basic education in the Federal Capital Territory.
Officials explained that the smart school model focuses on the use of digital learning platforms smart boards internet enabled classrooms and other educational technologies designed to make learning more interactive and effective for pupils.
The initiative is also expected to expose students to digital skills at an early stage while preparing them for the evolving global knowledge economy.
Education authorities in the FCT said the project forms part of broader reforms aimed at modernising public schools and improving the quality of teaching and learning in basic education.
They added that teachers in the school are being trained to effectively use digital tools in lesson delivery while students are encouraged to explore innovative ways of learning through technology.
