The All Progressives Congress has dismissed reports circulating about the cost of expression of interest and nomination forms for the 2027 general elections, describing them as false and misleading.

In a statement issued by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the party clarified that it has not taken any decision or made any announcement regarding the sale or pricing of forms for the upcoming elections.

According to the party, the claims being shared online are entirely fabricated and did not originate from its official channels. It stressed that the reports were baseless and should not be taken seriously.

The APC urged members, the media, and the public to ignore the information and avoid spreading unverified claims, noting that no official figures have been released concerning nomination fees for the 2027 polls.

The clarification follows widespread speculation on social media suggesting high costs for nomination forms, including unconfirmed figures for presidential aspirants, which the party has now firmly debunked.
