Roberto De Zerbi has agreed in principle to become the new manager of Tottenham Hotspur, according to British media reports.

The development comes after Spurs parted ways with interim coach Igor Tudor, who spent just seven games in charge.

Tottenham are currently just one point above the relegation zone, having failed to win a Premier League match in 2026, with seven games left in the season.

De Zerbi, who previously managed Brighton & Hove Albion, is available after leaving Marseille by mutual consent in February.

The club, which has not been relegated from the top flight since 1977/78, is seeking to avoid dropping into the Championship despite its status as one of the world’s richest teams.
