The Nigerian Army has debunked reports of an alleged attack on Matthew Kukah and the Sokoto Catholic Cathedral, describing the claims as false and misleading. The rumour, which circulated on social media, suggested that armed attackers targeted the bishop’s residence and the cathedral. However, military authorities clarified that no such incident occurred in Sokoto State.
