Speaking at the inauguration of the Gateway International Cargo Airport in Iperu, Ogun State, the President said ongoing infrastructure investments are laying the foundation for long-term economic growth and prosperity.
Tinubu praised Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun for delivering the airport project, noting that it reflects a broader vision to boost mobility, security, and agricultural development.
The President also launched 1,000 electric bikes, security vehicles, and tractors during the visit, describing the adoption of clean energy transport as a step toward modernisation.
He commended Nigerians for their continued support and highlighted that economic reforms are increasing resources available to states for development.
Also at the event, Senate President Godswill Akpabio and former President Olusegun Obasanjo lauded the administration’s reform agenda and ongoing development efforts.
Tinubu reiterated that Nigeria remains on a path of growth, expressing confidence that the country will overcome its security challenges.
