Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has released results for 632,788 candidates who sat for the first day of the 2026 UTME.

Candidates can check their results by sending “UTMERESULT” via SMS to 55019 or 66019 using their registered phone numbers, though result slip printing is not yet available.

The Board said more batches will be released as marking continues.

It also warned against falsifying results, revealing that two candidates and a parent have been arrested for manipulating scores using AI and electronic means.

JAMB stressed that offenders will face legal consequences and urged candidates to maintain integrity.
