Nigerian superstar Davido has won the Best International Act award at the 2026 Liberian Entertainment Awards, adding another global honour to his achievements.

The award was announced following the ceremony held on April 25 at the Lisner Auditorium in Washington, DC, where Davido edged out nominees including Tyla, Gunna, Rema, and Fridayy.

The Liberian Entertainment Awards, established in 2009, celebrates the contributions of Liberian entertainers at home and in the diaspora, while also recognising international talents across music, film, fashion, and community service.

Held annually in the United States, the event features performances from both established and rising acts, promoting Liberian culture on a global stage.

Davido’s win further underscores the global rise of Afrobeats and the growing presence of Nigerian artists on international award platforms.
