Bolaji Abdullahi has accused the All Progressives Congress of weakening opposition parties, describing the government as “the most shameless” in the country’s history.

The African Democratic Congress spokesperson claimed recent developments within the Peoples Redemption Party point to a pattern of interference.

He said speculation about a possible coalition involving the PRP was quickly followed by the emergence of a faction challenging the leadership of its chairman, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed.

Abdullahi warned that such developments reflect a shrinking democratic space and could destabilise the political system.

He argued that undermining opposition platforms limits voters’ choices and risks long-term damage to Nigeria’s democracy.
