The Christian Association of Nigeria has strongly condemned the killing of a pastor in Ekiti State and warned that increasing attacks on churches and worshippers must not be tolerated.

Reacting to the incident in Eda Oniyo Ekiti and related abductions in Kogi State, CAN President Daniel Okoh described the violence as a serious assault on human life and religious freedom.

He said the attacks, which targeted worshippers during a church gathering, reflect a growing disregard for life and societal values.

The association expressed solidarity with victims and families affected, while calling for the immediate and safe release of those abducted.
