The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has approved a revision of the timelines for the sale of Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms, along with the submission of completed documents for the 2027 general elections.

Originally, the sale of forms was slated to run from Saturday, April 25 to Saturday, May 2, 2026, while the deadline for submitting completed forms and required documents was fixed for Monday, May 4, 2026.

However, briefing journalists after the NWC meeting in Abuja on Thursday, the party’s Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Durosinmi Meseko, announced that the closing date for the sale of forms has now been moved to midnight on Monday, May 4, 2026.

He also disclosed that the submission deadline for completed forms and accompanying documents has been extended to midnight on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.

“The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), at its meeting held on Thursday at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja, has approved an extension of the timelines for the sale of aspirants’ Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms, as well as the submission of completed forms for the 2027 General Elections,”

Meseko stated.He explained that the decision to extend the deadlines was influenced by the nationwide public holiday observed on Friday, as well as the surge in interest and participation from aspirants seeking to contest in the elections.
