Femi Fani-Kayode and Reno Omokri say returning the presidency to Northern Nigeria in 2027 would undermine national unity and break the long-standing power rotation arrangement.

In a joint statement, both men endorsed Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term, arguing that the South should complete two full terms just like the North did under Muhammadu Buhari.

They described any early power shift as unfair and destabilising, stressing that the rotation agreement has been key to Nigeria’s political balance since 1999.

They also credited Tinubu’s administration with economic growth and major infrastructure projects, urging Nigerians across regions to support his re-election bid in 2027.

The statement positions zoning and power-sharing as central issues ahead of the next presidential election.
