The All Progressives Congress has announced a rescheduling of dates for its primary elections in Zamfara State, outlining a revised timetable for various contests.

For the primary elections, the House of Representatives will hold on Monday, 18th May 2026, followed by the Senate on Tuesday, 19th May 2026.The House of pAssembly primaries are set for Wednesday, 20th May 2026, while the Governorship primary will take place on Thursday, 21st May 2026. The Presidential primary is scheduled for Monday, 23rd May 2026.

Appeals arising from the primaries will follow immediately after. House of Representatives appeals are slated for Tuesday, 19th May 2026, Senate appeals for Wednesday, 20th May 2026, and House of Assembly appeals for Thursday, 21st May 2026. Governorship appeals will be heard on Friday, 22nd May 2026.
