Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah has congratulated President Bola Tinubu following his victory at the APC presidential primary, describing the outcome as a strong endorsement of the president’s leadership style and policy direction over the past three years.

Mbah, who served as the Collation Officer for Enugu State during the primary election, also praised Tinubu and the Yilwatda-led national leadership of the party for creating an atmosphere that ensured a peaceful, transparent and credible exercise.

The governor further commended party stakeholders and members for maintaining order and demonstrating maturity throughout the primary process.

According to him, the exercise was conducted without rancour and reflected the growth of internal democracy within the party.

“It was peaceful, transparent and credible. Party members freely exercised their democratic rights without intimidation or interference. This clearly shows that internal democracy is thriving in our party. We are now heading into the 2027 elections more united, stronger and better positioned,” Mbah stated.
