Sheriff Oborevwori has commissioned three newly completed road projects in Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State, totaling about 18 kilometres, as part of his administration’s infrastructure drive.

The projects include the Obi-Ibabu/Ibabu Road in Onicha-Ukwuani, Phase I of the Utagba-Uno/Ndemili Road, and the Etua-Ukpo/Etua-Etiti/Etua-Oliogo Road. The governor said the roads are expected to improve trade, transportation, and rural development across Ndokwa communities.

While inaugurating the projects, Oborevwori emphasized his government’s commitment to delivering infrastructure across all local government areas, noting that the roads are part of a broader strategy to boost economic activity and connect rural areas to markets.

He also expressed dissatisfaction with delays in some ongoing road projects and directed the Ministry of Works to ensure faster completion before the end of the year.

The governor further disclosed that additional road projects are underway across Ndokwa Nation, including access roads to industrial and commercial zones, while assuring residents that efforts are ongoing to address electricity challenges in the area.

Local leaders and stakeholders praised the projects, describing them as transformative for previously hard-to-reach communities and a boost to economic growth in the region.
