Kashim Shettima will visit Ekiti State on Tuesday for a one-day working trip focused on commissioning infrastructure projects and launching new development initiatives.
Representing Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Vice President is expected to perform the groundbreaking ceremony for the Ekiti Knowledge Zone, a project designed to promote innovation, technology, and economic growth in the state.
During the visit, Shettima will also inaugurate the newly completed zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in Ado-Ekiti and commission the 1.2-kilometre Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Flyover, a key infrastructure project of the administration of Biodun Oyebanji.
The visit marks Shettima’s second official trip to Ekiti since taking office. State officials say the projects reflect ongoing efforts to strengthen development through collaboration between the state government, the federal government, development partners, and the private sector.
Governor Oyebanji expressed confidence that the visit would further advance Ekiti’s development agenda and attract greater investment opportunities to the state.
