Nineteen additional Nigerian nationals have been added to the United States government’s criminal deportation list and are now slated for removal after being convicted of serious offences in the US, new data from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) shows.

The latest update raises the total number of Nigerians facing deportation to 113, with the new names published on the official DHS and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) “worst of the worst” list of foreign nationals convicted of crimes.

Those recently added to the list include Adeolu Solabu, Oladayo Agboola, Chinonso Ochie, Oluchi Jennifer Chimdimma Chime and several others whose convictions range from sexual assault of a minor, fraud, assault, drug trafficking and money laundering.

The notice accompanying the list states that the individuals were apprehended by ICE officials and will be deported after the completion of required immigration procedures. It also references remarks by Under Secretary Kristi Noem, who said DHS personnel are carrying out deportations as part of a broader effort to remove foreign nationals with serious criminal records.

The expansion of the deportation list comes amid a sustained crackdown by U.S. immigration authorities targeting criminal and undocumented migrants in recent months. Earlier this year, at least 79 Nigerians were listed for deportation after ICE arrests, underscoring ongoing enforcement measures.

The development highlights persistent legal risks for Nigerians facing criminal charges in the United States and reflects intensified enforcement priorities that focus on removing non‑citizens with convictions for serious offences.
