Sa’ad Abubakar says proper understanding of Islam should produce peaceful, disciplined, and compassionate Muslims.

Speaking at a mosque inauguration in Osogbo, he stressed that true believers should turn intolerance into unity and conflict into cooperation.

Represented by a regional Muslim leader, the Sultan added that Islam teaches reconciliation, not division.

Other clerics at the event also noted that mosques should serve broader community roles—beyond prayers—including social development and conflict resolution.
